More than 600 community members attended the first annual Career Technical Education (CTE) Night on May 17 at the Pacific Coast Campus. CTE hosted this free, family-friendly event that included games, activities and demonstrations featuring Long Beach City College’s CTE programs. CTE Night attendees were able to see the award-winning Robotics program in action, use the virtual reality welding machines, played “Red Light, Green Light” with the Electrical program’s traffic signals, tasted Culinary Arts samples and healthy snacks provided by Nutrition & Dietetics, and walked through a mini car show with Automotive Technology.
