Tony Pearson
Auditorium Technical Coordinator, Performing Arts
Tony Pearson started working as full time staff at LBCC in 2004. He also attended LBCC as a student, completing his lower division courses before transferring to CSULB, where he earned his BA in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Scenic Design, Lighting Design, Costume Design, and Sound Design.
Prior to working at LBCC, Tony worked for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in the Communication Division handling public and press events.
He also worked as an electrician, carpenter, rigger, stage manager, sound technician, spotlight operator, and assistant designer for film, TV, and live events at venues including the Honda Center, Long Beach Arena, Long Beach Performing Arts Center, The Harmon, Cerritos Performing Arts Center, the Strasburg Institute, Center Theatre, International City Theatre, Laguna Playhouse, South Coast Repertory, Nickelodeon, Universal, MTV, and Disney.
