Meeting Schedules

Please refer to Administrative Procedure 4020 for detailed information regarding meetings and expectations.

For specific dates, times, and locations, use the appropriate Schedule links on the right-hand side of the screen.

The Curriculum Committee and subcommittee meetings are held regularly, and meeting schedules and locations are published in advance. At LBCC, the Curriculum Committee meets once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters. Subcommittee meetings are also scheduled once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters.

In general, the following committees meet on alternating Wednesdays from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

• Curriculum Committee
• Academic Policy & Standards Subcommittee
• Associate Degree/General Education Subcommittee
• Course Evaluation Subcommittee

In general, the following subcommittees meet on alternating Tuesdays from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.

• Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes Subcommittee
• Online Educational Resources Subcommittee

In general, the following subcommittee meets on Thursday once per month.

• Department Planning & Program Review Subcommittee
   

Agendas, Minutes, Supporting Materials

Importantly, agendas, minutes, and supporting materials are published to the college community and public 72 hours in advance of each Curriculum and subcommittee meeting. This is to comply with the Brown Act and to facilitate any departmental or public comment that may inform the committee on its agenda items.

At LBCC, the Board Docs system is used to publish agendas, minutes, and supporting materials. After following the link to Board Docs, select the “AS (Academic Senate): Committee on Curriculum and Instruction” in addition to any of the six standing subcommittees following the “AS: CCI-” prefix.
