Matthew Atkinson teaches courses on global studies and political science. He is especially interested in economic development and coalition building. His research has been published in major political science journals – including the Journal of Politics and the British Journal of Political Science – as well as in popular venues such as The Washington Post and Wiley’s Popular Culture and Philosophy series. He has degrees in international policy studies (Stanford) and in political science (UCLA).
