Helping Homeless Students Fundraiser Thurs., Oct. 24

The red heart is on hand that showing love to another person. Heart is the symbol of showing love, cares, charity, help and compassion. People in the families and communities love each other.

The Helping Homeless Students group will hold its annual fundraiser from 4 – 6 p.m., on Thurs., Oct. 24 in the T-Building Lobby of LAC (T-1000). This fun event will feature the LBCC student jazz combo, Saucy Trio, along with food, beverages, student testimonials, opportunity prizes and a chance to donate to help the students we serve with basic essentials, gift cards, gas cards, rent subsidies and more.

Please mark your calendar to join us. The event will be co-sponsored with a celebration of the life of Dorothy Pittman Hughes, a leader in the Women Rights Movement and co-founder of Ms. Magazine.
