General Education
The LBCC Certificate of Achievement in CSUGE Breadth (completion of LBCC General Education Plan “B”) or IGETC (completion of LBCC General Education Plan “C”) serves as a certification to the CSU system that a student has completed lower-division general education. Students requiring a certification indicating their completion of lower-division general education for the UC system (IGETC Certification) should contact LBCC counseling at fcounter-lac@lbcc.edu for the IGETC certification request form.
Students who have been continuously enrolled prior to Fall 2025 may continue to follow the CSUGE and IGETC patterns. Students starting Fall 2025 or after must follow the new CalGETC pattern for transfer.
