Welcome to the Allied Health Department where students train for a growing number of highly skilled technical and support occupations in the healthcare industry. Working with doctors, nurses and others, allied health professionals provide diagnostic, technical and administrative patient care and services. The Department’s targeted programs prepare students for careers in diagnostic medical imaging, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, phlebotomy, and medical assisting as emergency medical technicians in the field, as well as administrative support staff in clinics and offices. All programs combine coursework with clinical training, allowing students to earn Associate of Arts/Science degrees, certification, and prepare for exams, certifications and higher education in related fields.
