Homeland Security
The Homeland Security Administration courses and Certificate of Accomplishment were created in the follow-up to the 9/11 Tragedies and are designed to provide an introduction to the career field of Homeland Security. Students who complete the Certificate course of study will be better prepared to compete for entry-level jobs in the Transportation Security Administration which is an integral part of our nation’s security program.
The demand for licensed Security Guards is ever-growing and our classes are designed to give those seeking a career in this field the training they need to qualify for and earn a license issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. Our courses offer 40 hours of required training and those who complete the courses successfully may apply to the state for a license.

How long does it take to complete the program?
Depending on the number of units you take and whether you are a full-time or part-time student, completing a certificate program can take as little as one semester and completing an associate degree program can take about two years.
