Game Design
The Multimedia and Game Design program prepares students with foundational skills for working in the game industry. Video Games are a multibillion-dollar industry on the west coast and the Game Design program at Long Beach City College can set students on a trajectory toward those exciting and rewarding jobs.
The Long Beach City College Game Design program focuses on design, not software development, so those who are interested in a career in the game industry, but don’t have a head for coding, can find a place for them to grow and thrive. Students here use preexisting code libraries to make their games, but those who are interested in learning to code can take classes in LBCC’s Computer Science program.
